Hours Required: 16 hours per year; 32 per biennium
Online Hours Accepted: 10 per year; 20 per biennium
Renewal Period: By the first day of the doctors birth month on even numbered years.

Specific Rules: 4 TBCE hours required annually that must consist of 1 hour in risk management and 3 hours covering board rules, including ethics, record keeping, documentation and coding (cannot be taken online); one-time 8-hour Medicare course required (cannot be taken online). The Medicare hours count as 8 hours towards the 16 hours of required CE. 4 hours of acupuncture every 2 years, if you have the acupuncture certificate.

Chiropractic Physician Assistants licensed within the biennium and renewing a license for the first time are required to complete two (2) hours of medical errors and three (3) hours of HIV/AIDS
